What is Microblading?
Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo where, through manual process of inserting pigment into the upper layers of skin, we create the desired fullness and shape of the eyebrows. Result looks natural and flawless as hair effect is recreated on the skin.
This advanced technique for cosmetic tattooing has many benefits:
Creates full and even brows.
Sweat proof and waterproof.
Camouflage any scars and sparse areas.
They are semi-permanent which allows you to adjust your brow shape as you age.
How do I prepare?
Stop using any skin thinners (Vitamin A, glycolic acids, exfoliation) on the brow area 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
Any waxing or brow shaping should be done at least 2 days in advance.
If you tint your brows, tint at least one week in advance.
Cosmetic Botox or fillers should be done 2 weeks in advance.
DO NOT consume alcohol, caffeine or take any blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, Niacin 48 hours before your procedure, this will promote excess bleeding and may affect your results).
Bring examples of how you fill in your brows to the appointment. Do not bring photos of people that are not you.
You may experience hypersensitivity and more pain around or during your menstrual cycle.
We will not be able to tattoo over any blemishes, sores, and moles in or around the brow area.
Is the process painful?
Pain tolerance varies from person to person.
Two separate numbing gels are used prior and during the procedure to ensure comfort.
It is highly recommended to avoid tattooing during a menstrual cycle because the skin
can be hypersensitive. Clients have related the procedure with eyebrow threading, plucking multiple hairs at once, or a light scratching of the skin.
Please avoid blood thinners, pain killers relievers, and aspirin
Do not consume alcoholic beverages the night before.
No caffeine the day of procedure.
Avoid exercise before procedure.
